AAMSCO Identification Products announced the promotion of Shannon Riordan to vice president, the first such post at the 45-year-old company.
Riordan has been with AAMSCO since 2008, serving as a sales representative for the firm’s identification and security solutions. She is a second-generation employee of the privately held dealership based here in Little Rock. In her new role as vice president, Riordan will lead all of AAMSCO’s sales and oversee its operating divisions including service and customer support.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas (Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration, Marketing Management), Riordan has been a key opinion leader among many government and law enforcement organizations where identification and security are a vital issue. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Central Arkansas Executive Association and is an alumna of the Arkansas State Chamber’s Leadership Arkansas program, which is designed to take a comprehensive view of the economic and political changes that this state faces.
“We are very proud of the dedication Shannon has demonstrated to us over the past 16 years,” said Geoff Riordan, President. “Her willingness to go above and beyond the extra mile to help our customers get the solutions they need and want has been unwavering to say the least, and I’m always amazed at her ability to track with the rapidly changing technology curve this industry experiences on a non-stop basis. The grass certainly doesn’t grow long under her feet, and that drive is going to serve us well as we continue on down our journey.”
